This tour, hosted by an Art Deco specialist guide, features a visit to English Heritage’s Eltham Palace, a unique Art Deco mansion in a medieval setting, which fuses 1930’s design with ancient architecture set amongst 19 acres of award-winning gardens.

Also included is a visit to Battersea power station and a visit to the Victoria and Albert Museum.

DAY 1


After pickups we travel to London where we visit Eltham Palace, a unique Art Deco mansion in a medieval setting.

After our visit we travel to the hotel for our 2 night stay.

DAY 2


We leave the hotel after breakfast to enjoy a full day guided tour of the best of London’s Art Deco wonders including the stunning Carreras Tobacco Factory, the sleek lines of the Daimler Garage,
imposing Senate House skyline, Odeon on Shaftesbury Avenue, Adelphi Theatre and the chic Savoy Hotel.

Afterwards we see the striking Deco landmarks of the Daily Express and Daily Telegraph buildings, the Unilever building, the former London Underground headquarters, Victoria Coach Station and
the former offices of Imperial Airways now the National Audit office.

Admire the curved glass curtain wall of the Peter Jones Building, iconic Michelin House Bibendum, the former Derry and Toms department store, Simpson’s Piccadilly, Palladium House and the BBC Broadcasting House.
The tour ends with free time at the RIBA Building with its etched glass, superb carvings impressive staircase, gallery and exhibition.

DAY 3


Morning departure from the hotel and we travel to the Victoria & Albert museum for free time.

After this visit we continue to the Battersea Power Station. We leave late afternoon to travel home.
