After pickups we travel to Irvine Ayrshire for our stay at the Riverside Lodge Hotel.

Today, we board the ferry at Ardrossan and sail to Brodick on the Isle of Arran, known as ‘Scotland in Miniature’, where we visit Brodick Castle, after free time for lunch in Brodick, we take a scenic drive around some of the island, before we board our ferry back to the mainland.

We visit the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum today.

Set in ten acres of the poet’s cherished countryside, the museum includes the famous Burns Cottage, where the poet was born and a modern museum housing the world’s most important collection of his life and works.

There is time for lunch here before we head to Culzean Castle, one of Scotland’s best loved castles.

This morning we travel to Wemyss Bay where we will board the ferry to Rothesay on the Isle of Bute.

We will continue the journey to Mount Stuart with its beautiful interiors and truly captivating marble hall. Then take a stroll around the attractive landscaped gardens.

After the visit we take the scenic journey back to Rothesay where we catch the ferry back to the mainland.

We leave the hotel after breakfast to travel home.
